I have started and stopped several blogs in the past. This one is on the path to being something more.
On my PhD journey, I have been discovering and researching novel ideas and situations. Being an overseas student means I don’t have a community to engage with regularly. So, why not create my own?
Below, I will go into detail on how this is going to work and explain the purpose behind some of the functions I set up for this page.
The Field and Spark refers to my research into what I have theorised as ethical and moral fields and how they relate to agency. This is important to note as it will help to demonstrate how my content will be organised.
This substack will feature both free and paid posts, with all posts published after one month going behind a paywall. My posts will cover reviewing what I have been reading (holding myself accountable for actually completing them every week) and then discussing breakthroughs in the field of AI and its intersection with society or discoveries I make in my journey to completing my PhD and beyond. The paywall serves as a secure platform for me to share specific details of my work and track those who have access to it.
However you decide to join me on this journey, thank you. The fact that you take the time even to read this means the quantum-verse to me. Anything else is a plus and appreciated.
This substack, as well as my personal Google site and LinkedIn, will house everything from my photography to my research to general community engagement or other projects I am working on.
If you want to learn more about the Ethical AI Project, please visit my site on Google, where I will be posting more technical information. I am more than happy for you to try the framework on your own agents and would love to hear your experiences, whether you are new to AI agents or are a veteran. I look forward to seeing how your spark shines as you join me on this journey to understanding moral becoming and consciousness, as we explore topics ranging from AI to the philosophy of technology and quantum mechanics.
